Flood Watch Warning from SES

22/3/2013

Hi all,

I have just received a telephone call from the Hawkesbury SES advising that there has been a 'Flood Watch' issued for the MacDonald River.  Details of levels etc are not available.  Basically get the pumps off the river and move stock off the river banks.

SES advise that there may be a  'Flood Warning' issued later tonight or early tomorrow morning for the Mac Donald River.

As far as Mogo Creek is concerned, the creek is rising quickly now.  We have had about 75 mm of rain in the past 48 hours and it is coming down up here.

The cement causeway at the northern end of the Common is about to go under and there is water across the Wollombi Road in the Common.  This water is coming out of the eastern gullies.

If anyone has information about their area could you let me know and I will get it out to everyone else.

SES advise if you need help.  Give them a call or email  them (address at the top of the page) if the phones go as they usually do.
