To the residents of the Macdonald Valley
The executive members of our brigade would like to say a huge thank you to all of our active and support members for the time they have given in helping with the recent bush fires. This started with the Webbs Creek fire and continued with our involvement in the State Mine fire
at Bilpin before another huge effort to contain the Howes Swamp fire in our own backyard at Melon Creek. Four and a half weeks in total. All in all a great effort and a job well done!
I would also like to extend a very special thank you to the community of St Albans for the way you rallied around to support the members in the field with food and cakes and your encouragement and appreciation. Pulling together like this is what makes our community so
special.
Once again, thank you all
